How to Build a Cat Play House

Lowe's shows you how to build a cat play house to keep your kitty entertained for hours. First, you will need some materials: - a handsaw - tape measure - a yardstick - a runner - some rope - a speed square - some liquid adhesive in a caulk gun - razor knife - string - painter's tape - some spring clamps - a concrete form tube - eye protection This single tube is actually going to be split into three separate units. To get a really good bead on splitting something into three separate sections take a tape measure, find the overall length of the concrete form tube, and divide that number by three. Then mark each section with a pencil, and use the tape to mark the cut lines all the way around the tube. Cut the tub into three sections. Don't forget to wear safety glasses. Wrap a piece of string around the concrete form tube to find its circumference and you can just mark that point with your finger. Measure the length of the string. Cut pieces of your runner that are as wide as the sections of tube, and as long as the length of your string. In this case, 16 in x 39 in. Now glue the runner to your concrete form tube. With the adhesive, trace around the border of the runner, and also draw a diagonal line across the middle. Apply each runner to each tube. Put glue along the seams of our concrete form tubes.
